Anime Expo 2026: Nerd Honey Showed Up and Showed Out

Anime Expo 2026 was everything — packed floors, incredible energy, and some of the most hyped exclusive drops we've ever brought to a convention. If you were there, you already know. If you missed it, here's your full recap of what went down at the Nerd Honey booth.

The Drops That Had People Lining Up

We came in hot with a lineup built for collectors who know their stuff. Here's what we brought to AX this year:

🔥 Luffy: Akira Homage — Original Artwork by Shehzan Qureshii

This one was a full-on moment. Shehzan Qureshii's Luffy piece — a love letter to Katsuhiro Otomo's iconic Akira — stopped people in their tracks. The limited print run sold fast, and for good reason: it's the kind of art that belongs framed, not buried in a longbox. A few copies are still available in our Exclusive Drops collection.

🎨 Jujutsu Kaisen: Hanami Series — Original Artwork by Jordan Wadley

Jordan Wadley brought three stunning Hanami variants to AX — the original, the Gold edition, and the Black edition. Each one is a limited print run exclusive, and the detail in Wadley's linework is something you have to see in person. Check out the full Hanami series in our Exclusive Drops collection.

⚡ Dragon Ball: Frieza Trifecta

We don't do things halfway. The Frieza drop came in three flavors — standard, Sketch, and Golden — and Dragon Ball fans went absolutely wild. Ultra limited print runs across all three. If you slept on these at the con, don't sleep on them twice. Browse the Exclusive Drops collection to see what's left.

The Vibe at the Booth

Beyond the drops, AX is always about the community. We got to meet so many of you in person — collectors, artists, fans who've been following Nerd Honey since the beginning. That energy is exactly why we keep showing up to these conventions. Thank you to everyone who stopped by, grabbed something, and kept the hype alive.

What's Next?

We're already planning the next drop. Follow along and keep an eye on the Exclusive Drops collection — new prints, new artists, and more convention exclusives are coming. The hive doesn't sleep.
