Artist Spotlight: Jordan Wadley and the Full JJK Hanami Series

Artist Spotlight: Jordan Wadley and the Full JJK Hanami Series

When we first saw Jordan Wadley's take on Hanami from Jujutsu Kaisen, we knew we had to bring it to Anime Expo. What started as one exclusive print became a full three-piece series — and every single one is something special. Here's the story behind the art and the artist.

Who Is Jordan Wadley?

Jordan Wadley is an illustrator whose work sits at the crossroads of anime, comics, and fine art. His style is meticulous — heavy on detail, rich in texture, and deeply respectful of the characters he draws. When Jordan takes on a subject, he doesn't just recreate it. He reinterprets it. That's exactly what makes his Hanami series so striking: it feels both faithful to the source material and completely his own.

Why Hanami?

Hanami is one of the most visually compelling cursed spirits in all of JJK — a nature-based entity with an otherworldly design that's tailor-made for a collector print. Jordan leaned into that fully, building a composition that captures Hanami's eerie calm and raw power at the same time. The result is a piece that works whether you're a die-hard JJK fan or just someone who appreciates incredible art.

The Full Series

What began as a single exclusive at Anime Expo 2026 grew into a three-variant series, each with its own distinct mood:

🌿 Jujutsu Kaisen: Hanami — The Original

The one that started it all. Jordan's original Hanami cover is the foundation of the series — bold, detailed, and immediately iconic. This was the first drop at AX and set the tone for everything that followed.

✨ Jujutsu Kaisen: Gold Hanami

The Gold variant takes the original composition and elevates it with a warm, metallic palette that makes Hanami feel almost regal. It's the kind of variant that looks completely different on the wall depending on the light — and that's exactly the point.

🖤 Jujutsu Kaisen: Black Hanami

The Black variant is the darkest and most dramatic of the three. Deep shadows, high contrast, and a mood that leans fully into the horror side of JJK. If you want the one that hits hardest on a wall, this is it.

Collect the Full Set

Each print in the Hanami series is a limited run exclusive — once they're gone, they don't come back. Collectors who want all three have a real opportunity right now. Browse the complete series and everything else we've dropped in our Exclusive Drops collection.

More collaborations with Jordan are in the works. Stay tuned. 🐝
